Student Spring Showcase is TOMORROW evening at 7:00. Come and check out the talents of our Cobras. All proceeds raised are to support The Arts at WCCHS.

  • Student Course Requests for next year grades 10, 11 and 12 are now open on the Power School Portal.  Please go in and request your classes for next year.  If you have questions please talk to Mr. Dietze or Mrs. McNutt.  Deadline is Monday April 30.  Get your requests in early before the classes fill up.

  • A reminder to all students that WCCHS- N0 phones in the washrooms. There are signs to indicate this.Thank you.

  • Next Friday is May 4th and you know what that means, it’s Star Wars Day! Dress up in your favourite Star Wars clothes and get a lightsaber (freezie) at lunch. May the force be with you 

  • Have you applied? John Barlow (our MP) is organizing a Youth Advisory Committee.  This is an opportunity for selected youth to have a direct dialogue with their member of parliament.  They will be asked to contribute ideas and suggestions in regards to issues discussed on Parliament Hill as well as issues in the community.  This is a non-partisan opportunity for youth of all political backgrounds.  Please apply before April 27.  The first meeting will be May 13. Application forms are available in the office. 

  • 2018 Stampeders Football Spring Camp in Pincher Creek this weekend! For grades 3-11. Click THIS LINK for details and cost.

  • Friday May 4-H Computer & T.V. Recyling Event from noon until 8 p.m. at the Town of Claresholm Shop, 424 41 Ave. East. Show you support for our Cobras in 4-H. Call Sophia 403-625-2299 for more information.

  • Are you interested in making films? Are you thinking about taking courses in Film at college or university? Then this is for you: The University of Lethbridge is offering a dual credit course next year for high school students interested in film making and studying film at post secondary. They have an information event April 27th at the Movie Mill in Lethbridge where details will be explained. There will also be a free film showing after the meeting! See Mr. Dietze if you are interested.

  • Casino in Lethbridge: WCCHS Sports Society is scheduled to work the Sunday, May 27 and Monday, May 28.  Sports Society is requesting your help as a volunteer.  We need 20 volunteers to work over the period of four shifts.  Day shifts are 1:00-8:00 p.m. and night shifts are 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Please contact Traci Nidd if you would like to volunteer or have questions.  Please fill out the following form and return to the school: Casino_Volunteer_Worker_Application
